Mrs. Aquilla Groves died at her home in Waynetown on Fri. afternoon after several months illness. Funeral services Sun. were conducted by Rev. WH Kerr. Lenora Russell was born in Waveland in the house on W. Main St where Charles Sprague now lives, June 13, 1846. She was the daughter of Dr. Joseph T. and Mary E. (Penn) Russell. She married Aquilla Groves Sept 30,1868. She joined the Christian Church at Waveland, transferring her membership to Waynetown. She is survived by her husband and two daughters, Mrs. V.W. Livengood of Crawfordsville and Mrs. John Francis of Waynetown by two sons, David and Arnet Groves of Crawfordsville; by a brother, John Q. Russell of New Market and by a sister, Miss Pauline Penn Russell of Zion City. She was highly esteemed by many friends here. - kbz
